SAA is offers AME curriculum in both Mechanical (B1.1) & Avionics (B2) categories.
Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) : Candidates who enroll themselves under category B1.1 are called Mechanical AME`s. They are specially trained to perform maintenance, repair, inspection and certification on Aircraft structure, Powerplant, Landing Gear etc. section of aeroplane.
Category B2 (Avionics) : Candidates who enroll themselves under category B2 are called Avionics AME`s. They are specially trained to perform maintenance, repair, inspection and certification on Aircraft Instruments, Electrical, Radio Navigation etc. section of aeroplane.
SHA-SHIB AVIATION ACADEMY is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation (Govt. of India) under CAR – 147 Basic (to harmonize training requirements for the maintenance training organizations to International standards. CAR 147 (Basic) is based on EASA Part 147) for conduction of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course
