RULES & REGULATIONS

  • The duration of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course is 02 years, which is divided into four semesters of six months each.
  • The entire course consists of basic knowledge training, basic knowledge examination, practical training and practical assessment. Both the Theory and practical training is imparted in each semester and accordingly the semester exams are conducted for theory and practical.
  • All the candidates will be imparted practical training on airports in Maintenance organizations where they will work in actual working environment.
  • Attendance is compulsory and will be taken during all the classes. A minimum attendance of 90% is compulsory as per DGCA regulations, without which a student may not be permitted to appear for the examinations and also will be charged fine for not attending classes without prior permission.
  • In this duration learners have to appear for two different types of examinations i.e Semester Exams and Modules Exams.
    • Semester Exams: In Each semester both theoretical and practical exams are conducted in the college premises under supervision of DGCA approved Training manager. If anyone fails to clear any paper in semester, he/she have to appear for re-sem within 30 days.
    • Module Exams: Apart from passing the semester exams every student has to appear Modular Examinations which is conducted by CEO, DGCA, and Govt. of India in Kochi. If anyone fails to clear any module, he/she can reappear it in next session.
    • Candidates appearing for current semester will not be promoted to the next semester till candidate clears the previous semester exams.
    • No fee will be charges for semester examination, however if student is not attending examination without valid reason then they will be charged extra fine along with re-examination fee.
    • All the students has to come in the college assigned dress code only in the college.
